Located along the Big Blue River in Northeastern Kansas at the crossroads of Highway 36 and Highway 77, Marysville is a vibrant community with spirit and pride. Known for its black squirrels, good schools and interesting history, the town is poised for growth.

Marysville, the county seat for Marshall County, is also home to several museums. The Koester House Museum is an interesting flashback to the turn of the century with many original furnishings from the Koester family and wonderful and rare sculptures in the yard and garden. The Marshall County Historic Courthouse Museum, constructed in the 1890’s, is also a beautiful an interesting place to visit.

The Marysville and Marshall County area lends itself to excellent hunting and fishing opportunities with many public walk-in areas. The Big Blue River, which feeds Tuttle Creek Reservoir, is also a great place to fish.
